In 2004/2005 Magne played a number of concerts in connection with his first proper solo album, Past Perfect Future Tense. The live material was mostly from that album, but he also did his own versions of a few a-ha songs, like “Manhattan Skyline”. His backing musicians were Frode Lamøy (drums), Dan Sunhordvik (guitar) and Rune Lamøy (bass).

The backing musicians he used in 2007/2008 to support his second solo album A Dot Of Black In The Blue Of Your Bliss were Karl Oluf Wennerberg (drums), Dan Sunhordvik (guitar) and Jonny Sjo (bass). In addition to the new solo material, some of the concerts included the a-ha songs “Don’t Do Me Any Favours” and “Summers Of Our Youth”.

Between 2010 – 2012 Magne has done a number of concerts in Germany, Norway, UK, Russia, Austria and Denmark together with the other members of his side project Apparatjik – Jonas Bjerre, Guy Berryman and Martin Terefe – playing songs from their albums We Are Here and Square Peg in a Round Hole.
