A short interview clip with Morten has been posted on his and a-ha’s social media channels today. This is the first time we’ve seen him speak on camera since 2022. More from the interview will probably follow soon.

In the clip he’s asked what inspired him to release the upcoming album Human Grace, his first solo album in many years.

Morten: “I knew I was sitting on songs. And I was becoming more than ready to be doing something that made sense to me, amidst the tunnel-digging of the Parkinson condition. Because I needed to be doing something meaningful. And finding the material that we did find, was very inspiring.”

Over the last couple of weeks video interviews with Morten’s daughter Tomine and his songwriting partner Peter Kvint have also been posted:
